Do people have to pay to take part in the game?
No, it is completely free for our players and will remain that way permanently.
​
Who can play the game?
You need to be 16 or over and live in the Swansea Bay region.
Under 16's can play and must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

How long will I/We appear in a video?
up to 30 seconds.
​
I want to be a player in the game, where do I provide my name and phone number?
Go to 'Our Players' page and enter your details.
Your personal details will remain confidential.

What is the prize for the game winner?
For full details, take a look on the 'Prize' page.
​
Where do you film the scenes?
Swansea Beach, Parks, Mumbles and other outdoor locations around Swansea.
​
How long will it take to complete the video?
This depends on finding people to take part.
Up to 20 people will be required and video can be produced and uploaded to Youtube
within 2 weeks.

How is Journey to the Forty funded?
The first video will be a pilot, to gauge the level of interest from local people.
Second video onwards, through sponsors and advertising from artists, crafters, amateur photographers, pro photographers, content creators or anyone else with a photo or video to show.

Sponsors and advertisers take no part in the game, they can upload suitable images or videos to the site which will appear in a YouTube video as a gallery alongside our game.
​I would like to be a Sponsor and have an image/video, what type are you looking for?
Artistic, humour, thought provoking, anything which will delight, wow and entertain our audience.
​
All forms of visual art, photos, animals/pets and videos, real and 'AI' generated including images and videos taken by amateur and professional photographers, artists, crafters and content creators.
​
In addition, if you are uploading an image or video, any description that you provide will appear next to the image or video in the completed video.

Sponsor content upload file size type and limits?
Your image files should be in JPG, JPEG, PNG, GIF or PDF format.
Image file size up to 20MB.
GIF size up to 15MB.

For video, MP4 is recommended but you can try to upload other types.
Your video file size up to 100MB.

What will I receive as a Sponsor?
Acknowledgement in the video with your first name, town or city and country where you live.
You also have the option to choose gender and age group of people taking part in the game.​
​​​​​​​​As a Sponsor, how long will my image or video be displayed for in your video?
20 seconds for an image.
Up to 30 seconds for video.
Of course, the completed video can be paused for a longer look if needed.

Who can be a Sponsor?
You need to be 18 or over and resident of any country.
​
How much is it to be a Sponsor?
For the UK, £15.
For USA, approximately $20.
For all other countries, the equivalent rate.

Do I have to be owner of the image or video for it to be accepted?
Yes, it is important that you own the image or video or get permission from the owner before you upload your file to this site.

Journey to the Forty displays content in good faith and relies on Sponsors to provide correct and honest information.
​
I want to be a Sponsor, where do I provide my details?
Go to 'Be a Sponsor' page where you will be required to fill in a form.
You can also upload your image or video, if you have one, on the same form.

I would like to be a Sponsor, where do I pay?
Go to the Shop, select 'Be a Sponsor' and make payment.
Then go to 'Be a Sponsor' page and fill in the form.

What payments do you accept?
All major credit and debit cards on a secure payment page in the Shop.
​
What is the duration of each completed video on YouTube?
Between 25 and 30 minutes.

​How many Sponsors will be in each video?
Currently up to 24.
​Can I be a Sponsor without uploading an image or video?
Yes, be part of the journey with or without content.
You will receive acknowledgement for being a Sponsor.

​How can content creators, artists, crafters and photographers get their work included?
For images, you will need to take a clear and in focus photo of your work.
Take a photo in good light, preferably natural light in the morning hours.

My art/photography is for sale, can you include information about my website?
Yes, be sure to add these details when you fill in the form on 'Be a Sponsor' page.
Your website details will appear on the 'Sponsors' page along with your first name.

​​​Can my image or video be uploaded straight from my phone?
Yes, the upload process is designed to be quick and easy, they can be uploaded from a phone or your computer.

How soon will the video be made?
Sponsors are invited while scenes are being filmed, which can take up to a week.
After editing and production, video will be uploaded to YouTube within 48 hours.​​​​​​​​

Are their any checks in place to ensure content is suitable?
Yes. Journey to the Forty is intended to be enjoyed by all members of the family.
All images and videos will be verified, unsuitable content will not be considered for inclusion in a video.

As a Sponsor, what information do you need from me?
Full Name (only your first name will be displayed in a video, unless you opt in for full name).
Town or City where you live.
Country where you live.
Email address required for order receipt to be sent.

All personal information provided will remain confidential, except for your first name.
For privacy reasons, only your first name will be shown in a video, you can opt in to include your full name if you wish.

​​As a Sponsor, can you keep me informed about when the video will be uploaded to YouTube?
Yes, you can keep fully up to date with the video production progress.
VIDEO STATUS updates are on the home page.
Updates can include for example:
Scenes being filmed now
Editing video now
Uploaded to YouTube.
