Do players have to pay to take part in the Journey To The Forty game?
No, it is completely free for our players and will remain that way permanently.

What will I receive as a Sponsor?
1. Acknowledgement in the video with your first name, town or city and country where you live.​
You have the option to upload an image or video which will be seen on YouTube.
​
2. You have the option to upload a personal photo, this photo is then used to generate fun AI images and an AI video.
Your personal photo or AI generated images of it will not be seen on Youtube.
You will receive 4 AI images and 1 AI video.

​3. Advertising and promotion if you have a business.
Include your website name if you have one, useful if you are selling your work, merchandise or offering a service.

I would like to be a Sponsor and have an image or video, what are you looking for?
Art (both real and AI),
Drawings and Illustrations,
Nature,
Pets and wildlife,
Humour,
Anything which will delight and entertain our audience.

All forms of visual art, photos, images and short videos taken by:

Artists,
Illustrators,
Content Creators,
Crafters,
Professional and amateur photographers,
Or anyone else with a photo, image or short video to share with the world.

In addition, if you are uploading an image or video, any description that you provide will appear next to the image or video in the completed video on YouTube.

Can I be a Sponsor without uploading an image or video?
Yes, be part of the journey with or without content.
You will receive acknowledgement for being a Sponsor.

Who can be a Sponsor?
You need to be 18 or over.
​
How much is it to be an Individual Sponsor?
For the UK, £20.
For USA, approximately $28.
For all other countries, your equivalent rate.

How much is it to be a Business Sponsor?
For the UK, £40.
For USA, approximately $56.
For all other countries, your equivalent rate.

I would like to be a Sponsor, where do I pay?
Go to 'Be a Sponsor' page and fill in the form.
Go to the Shop, select 'Sponsor' or 'Business sponsor' and make payment.
​​​Who can play in the game?
You need to be 16 or over and live in the Swansea Bay region.
​
I want to be a player in the game, how long will I or we appear in a video?
Between 15 and 30 seconds.

I want to be a player in the game, where do I provide my name and phone number?
Go to 'Our Players' page and enter your details.
Your personal details will remain confidential.

Can you keep sponsors and game players informed about
when the video will be uploaded to YouTube?
Yes, once the first players have had their scenes filmed, a date for video upload to YouTube will be displayed on the home page.
Information about video updates will include for example:
'Scenes being filmed now'
'Editing video now'
'Video uploaded to YouTube.'

What is the prize for the game winner?
For full details, take a look on the 'Prize' page.

Where do you film the scenes?
Swansea beach and promenade, parks and other outdoor locations around Swansea and Mumbles.
​
How long will it take to complete the video?
This depends on finding people to take part.
Up to 20 people will be required and video can be produced and uploaded to Youtube
within 2 weeks.

How is Journey to the Forty funded?
The first video will be a pilot episode.
Second video onwards, through sponsors and advertising from artists, crafters, amateur photographers, pro photographers, content creators or anyone else with a photo or video to show.

Sponsors and advertisers take no part in the game, they can upload suitable images or videos to the site which will appear in a YouTube video as a gallery alongside our game.

Sponsor content upload file size type and limits.
Your image files should be in JPG, JPEG, PNG, GIF or PDF format.
Image file size up to 20MB.
GIF size up to 15MB.
​
For video, MP4 is recommended but you can try to upload other types.
Your video file size can be up to 100MB.

​​​​​​​​As a Sponsor, how long will my image or video be displayed for in your video?
Depending on progress of the game, between 10 and 25 seconds for an image.
Up to 30 seconds for video.
Of course, the completed video can be paused for a longer look if needed.

​Do I have to be owner of the image or video for it to be accepted?
Yes, it is important that you own the image or video or get permission from the owner before you upload your file to this site.
​
Journey to the Forty displays content in good faith and relies on Sponsors to provide correct and honest information.
​
I want to be a Sponsor, where do I provide my details?
Go to 'Be a Sponsor' page where you will be required to fill in a form.
You can also upload your image or video, if you have one, on the same form.

​What payments do you accept?
All major credit and debit cards on a secure payment page in the Shop.
​
What is the duration of each completed video on YouTube?
Anything between 20 to 27 minutes.
​​​
​How many Sponsors will be in each video?
Currently up to 24.
​​​​​How can content creators, artists, crafters and photographers get their work included?
For images, you will need to take a clear and in focus photo of your work.
Take a photo in good light, preferably natural light in the morning hours.

My art/photography is for sale, can you include information about my website?
Yes, be sure to add these details when you fill in the form on 'Be a Sponsor' page.
Your website details will appear on the 'Sponsors' page along with your first name.

​​​Can my image or video be uploaded straight from my phone?
Yes, the upload process is designed to be quick and easy, they can be uploaded from a phone or your computer.
​
How soon will the video be made?
Sponsors are invited while scenes are being filmed, which can take up to a week.
After editing and production, video will be uploaded to YouTube within a further 48 hours.
Once filming starts, a date for upload to YouTube will be on the home page.​​​​​​​​

Are their any checks in place to ensure content is suitable?
Yes. Journey to the Forty is intended to be enjoyed by all members of the family.
All images and videos will be verified, unsuitable content will not be considered for inclusion in a video.

As a Sponsor, what information do you need from me?
Full Name (only your first name will be displayed in a video, unless you opt in for full name).
Town or City where you live.
Country where you live.
Email address required for order receipt to be sent.
​
All personal information provided will remain confidential, except for your first name.
For privacy reasons, only your first name will be shown in a video, you can opt in to include your full name if you wish.
